I am thrilled to continue my ministry of Catholic Education at St. Patrick Academy. My journey in Catholic Education began within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles where I taught for 7 years until the grace of God brought me to this beautiful community here at St. Patrick Academy. It is a blessing to have the opportunity to lead our school with such persevering students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community.
As Nelson Mandela brilliantly said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Our goal at SPA is to instill confidence in our students to help them realize that with knowledge they have the power to make a difference. It is a blessing to integrate our Catholic faith into the curriculum and help guide students through their spiritual journey with Christ.
My commitment to you is to provide a Christ-centered environment that forms each child intellectually, morally, and socially. I look forward to working with each of you in continuing to cultivate critical thinking and active faith in our students so they gain the necessary skills for a meaningful life and experience God’s love.

Mrs. Ana Moreira is the 7th grade homeroom teacher and teaches Jr. High Theology and Spanish. Mrs. Moreira has received her Master's degree, Lay Mission Project Certification, and has over 10 years of teaching experience. Mrs. Moreira is dedicated to the faith formation of our youth and is committed to her vocation as a Catholic educator. Ms. Moreira enjoys integrating the Art into her curriculum and providing students with opportunities to express their creativity. She leads our All School Choir. She also organizes and prepares our students for many Diocesan events, such as the Religion Competition and Speech Contest.
She is known as the balloon queen at our Academy due to her beautiful balloon garlands.

Ms. Peletta teaches Jr. High ELA and Literature. She is passionate about arts integration and her assignments allow the students to use creativity to connect art and a traditional subject. She enjoys building positive relationships with her students and you can often find her encouraging them to look for the deeper meaning in their reading and writing. Ms. Peletta exemplifies our service-oriented vision and is a role model of her faith by incorporating prayer intentions, catholic teaching, and sincerity in her daily activities.

Mr. Slater teachers Jr. High Math. Mr. Slater cares deeply about the successes of his students and you will oftentimes observe him finding new ways to deliver the same instruction to ensure understanding of difficult math concepts. He enjoys providing instruction that is engaging but also challenging so his students stay on task and are laser focused. They know what to expect in his class and he has built strong bonds with his students. He begins his classes with prayer and often ends with laughter as they try to teach him their everyday lingo. He loves watching his students mature into young adults, so you will also catch Mr. Slater attending a sporting event to show his support.

Ms. Victorio has a deep love for the school community and surrounding South Sacramento community. She wears multiple hats as our Advancement Director, Spanish and P.E teacher. This is not to mention all of her other roles with the surrounding community! You will likely be unable to find Ms. V. in one place as she is always helping in every area, whether it be advising Student Council, teaching, supervising at recess, setting up for school events or spreading the SPA spirit outside of the Academy! She loves with a big heart and gives her all to the students each and everyday.

Ms. Morgan is the School Counselor at St. Patrick Academy. She partners with staff and parents to support our students' emotional, social or academic need.
The school counseling program at St. Patrick Academy is geared toward meeting the social, emotional, and academic needs of all students. This developmental and preventative program focuses on helping students achieve academic and personal success through a variety of guidance activities. In an attempt to meet these needs, the counseling program offers many services for you and your child. Services include classroom guidance lessons which address broad developmental topics (self-esteem, social skills, problem-solving skills, etc.)
Ms. Morgan is committed to getting know each child individually and helping to make school a safe and happy place.

Ms. Anuszczyk brings with her a wealth of experience and a deep passion for education and music. Ms.Anuszczyk’s teaching journey extends to Heritage Peak Charter School and her significant contributions to various music ministries at St. Clare, Christ the King Retreat Center, CSUS Newman Center, and Catholic schools within the Diocese of Sacramento. Her commitment to the Catholic Ministries is commendable, reflecting her dedication to both education and faith.Ms.Anuszczyk’s love for music has been a lifelong journey, beginning in her childhood and culminating in training with the National Association of Pastoral Musicians in the early 1990s. Her pursuit of knowledge also led her to study liturgy under Dr. Alexander Shaia.
Ms. Anuszczyk teaches Music, leads the music ministry at our Family Sunday Masses and and advises Master Chorus club.
